July 23rd

Every year on July 23rd, up at Bountiful, they have the best fireworks. I have been going up there since I was little because the fireworks were right in my Aunt's backyard. She has since moved but we still meet my cousins up there every year. I forgot my camera this year so all of the pictures are off of my phone. Not the best but still fun!

Demolition Derby

For starters I am way behind on my blogging and have four loads of laundry screaming my name. What have I done with my day!!!
Onto other things, for the first time ever this summer I went to a demolition derby and I would highly recommend going to one. It is super white trashy and yet extremely fun all at the same time. You go and watch people crash cars into each other and you cheer every time you do it! The girl in front of me said, "This is probably like watching the gladiators in the Colosseum." Scary thought.

If you have never been to a demolition derby, go. I am a believer.

Moon Lake 2010

We had our annual Moon Lake outing again this year and we had a blast! We went over the July 4Th weekend (I know I am a little late posting about it) and it was so fun getting together with my family and some of my cousins.

We brought water tramp to Moon Lake this year. If the water weren't so cold I think we would have jumped in more. The Moon Lake water put Bear Lake's water to shame. It makes Bear Lake seems like a jacuzzi. But we still had fun sitting on it. And I think we all jumped in once.

Mermaids in the sand have been a tradition for a long time.

We brought crafts for the first time this year (we usually 'borrow' them from my cousins) and we even got my brother and Brighton to help out with some painting.

Four Wheeling

A couple of weeks ago I went four wheeling in Stockton Utah with my dad and my older sister. It has been a couple of years since I have been four wheeling and I had forgotten how much a loved it. This was my first time going up this mountain and I took way too many pictures. So I apologize.

About 1/4 to the top there is a place called Jackson City. It is an old abandoned mine city and I was fascinated by all of the history there. My Dad and I standing in front of an abandoned house.

My dad who was on the other four wheeler likes to stop and talk to as many people as he can. That is how he found out about the Mojave Underground Explorers. So while he stopped and talked to the other group we took some pictures.

Bear Lake 2010

We went to Bear Lake again this year with Brighton's family and had a blast. We didn't have the chance to stay there very long but I loved every minute of it. I didn't get very many pictures, none of the whole group or of any adults, and I am not sure why but I do have a few.

My Best Friend

On Brighton's birthday my best friend got married. Sniff Sniff. Now I know how she feels when I got married. She found out I was engaged on her mission and she cried! I pretty much cried her whole wedding day though so we are even. Man, we are weird. But I am way excited for her and I love the guy she married! The following pictures are in random order but it is too late at night for me to really care.

I knew I was supposed to marry Brighton as soon as I found out that his birthday fell on the same day as my dad's. Just kidding. But it has always been fun to celebrate my dad's B-day with Brighton's. And hey, I never forget either of the birthdays! Since their birthdays fall on or around fathers day my family always celebrate Father's Day and their birthdays at the same time.

Since Brighton passed his cake decorating class we had him make his own birthday cake. (Obviously they did not ask me to do it.) This picture does not do the cake justice. As a matter of fact it kind of looks like we picked this cake up off the ground but we didn't. It was a 5 layer German Chocolate Cake. Delicious!

The two birthday boys! They are two peas in a pod. Once the jokes start rolling with these two they never stop. Here is to the best two guys I know (who have the same birthday)!!
